28mm Figures for wargamers and collectors.

NEWS UPDATE
9th September
We have just added the first of our articles on the Zulu War to our new Articles section.
These will cover aspects of the war, its history and the people involved and we hope you will find them a useful resource for collecting and building your armies.
The first article is a guide to the Zulu regiments. It is a large subject so we will update this over time. Meanwhile it should provide some very useful information for painting your Zulu warriors!
We have put our new Zulus with cowtails up in our shop. These are nearer to what many people might expect from their warriors - a bit more regalia for your units with a great sense of movement and style.
We are also excited to add our first accessory packs to the range. Eight different British soldier heads that can be used for all sorts of conversions and modelling opportunities. They come in both glengarry caps and sun hats with shiny regimental plates ( ideal for fans of 'that film' but also historically accurate in many cases e.g. the 99th).

Also in the pipeline is the first in a series of articles detailing the shields and uniforms of the various Zulu regiments. These articles are designed to help you accurately paint your Zulus and in some cases we will be detailing at which engagements they fought.
Lt Colonel Mike Snook is a serving officer in the Royal Regiment of Wales, the modern identity for the 24th (2nd Warwickshire.) Regiment, and a notable historian of the Zulu War. His books, which are highly regarded, include such titles as
'Like Wolves on the Field: The defence of Rorkes Drift.' and '
How Can Man Die Better: The Secrets of Isandlwana Revealed.'
With this background we are very proud to not only count Mike as one of our customers but also to publish, with his permission, a review that he has recently placed on the excellent rorkesdriftvc.com site.

On a different note our Zulus are now with the casters and we expect (all being well) that they will be available from the second week in August.
We have added a 'Workbench' section with a preview and designers notes for our forthcoming Zulus.
We are Live!

'Damned Wobbly Gentlemen'
We have added the first draft of our 'club' rules for mass colonial war games. Nice and simple, making them ideal for big games and 'beer & pretzel' evenings. We think that they give a well balanced game and intend to update them over time.
